Has anyone had success installing Wolfenstein 2009 on Windows 10? I have tried multiple times but the installation hangs after accepting terms. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I have tried running the setup as an admin and have had the same issues as well as trying to run setup under compatibility settings. They are more than ever and more intelligent, with new weapons and tactics, but don't worry, your armory has been powered up too. You and your friends will enroll in an amazing and blasting battle where fire, shoots and weapons are extremely important, take care of them and use them efectively, don't run out of ammo.

So I'm new to patching RTCW. I have the latest GOG version (1.41). Should I install both Venom mod 5.4 AND ioRtCW 1.51, or one or the other? Is there any other patch I need to install before or any I should install after, or is 1.41 good enough for both of those?

Install the latest GOG version, then install ioRtCW 1.51 or Return to Castle Wolfenstein v1.42d Patch (I use ioRtCW) and after that is done install Venom mod 5.4.

Okay, so I did that and for some reason I couldn't get ioRtCWx64 to recognize my custom resolution. I wanted to play with Dynamic Super Resolution on, so I set a custom resolution but it didn't work. I ended up using the default WolfSP.exe and played through all parts of the first mission just fine (my custom resolution worked with that EXE), but then the game crashes constantly when trying to load the first part of the second mission. I tried with the ioRtCWx64 exe and the crash still happened. Any suggestions?
[edit] Well, I was able to fix my issue, instead of using ioRtCW I'm using 1.42d patch. I can't get DSR working right anymore, but I force 8x AA through NVCPL and it looks and plays great. Thanks for your help.

I'm having an issue not mentioned anywhere (I could find).
Initially I get the error and program won't launch.
I do the v1.42d Patch and the game launches but is basically broken.
When the wet Activision thing pops up it starts freezing.
The menus and sound are almost solid frozen. (like move the mouse.. wait four seconds to see where the pointer ends up slow/frozen).
What could be causing this?
System specs: Lenovo M72e, Pentium G2020, HD 2000/2500 graphics, 4 GB ram, Windows 10.
Internet machine bought refurb cheap.. but would also like to do some light gaming.
Would really like to play this game (never played it back in the day).

I found a Radeon HD 5450 and will find a low profile bracket to install it in this machine.
It's marginally better performing... but does have 1 GB dedicated ram and can be updated with drivers that others actually use!
I've had stupid unfix-able issues with 'locked down tight' Intel HD graphics before (HD 4000 on my i7 laptop), and I'm over it.

If I'm running win 10 64c bit I use the 64 bit patch? or does it mean the game 64 bit required?.
